Hey guys
I currently have a colt here at home which I am breaking in. His D.O.B is 16th Nov 2005. He is grey with a blaze. Phantom should easily mature around 15 - 15.2hh.

Sire - Newhaven Bushfire - Whobaa reg #321
Dam - Bersheebas Daughter - WHSA reg # W0020

He is quiet to handle although he would def try to put a new owner in thier place but with a strong hand in telling him who is boss he will quickly settle down. He has already been ridden twice since I backed him and he is currently learning to turn and stop although he has just got a handle on the "go" button. He has shown absolutely no signs of nastiness at all. I believe he will be a lot like his old man which means lazy, lazy, lazy ha ha. He is an exquisite horse and would make any owner proud to say that they own a Waler! I am in the process of foal recording him with WHOBAA.

I am interested to see what people are interested in - would you prefer to buy a colt or gelding?

He was given to a mate a year ago who just left Phantom in the paddock and didnt handle him. So Phantom has spent the last 2 weeks learning the basics again and he has come a long way!

Anyone who my be interested in purchasing Phantom can contact me on my email - newhavenbushfire@hotmail.com.

I will try and post some pictures asap.

Cheers Erin

Hi Snowy

We would be interested in a registered entire on the proviso that the registered horse is not recognised as only a part bred, given that both parents are registered with different societies.

Having stated our interest we are not going to enter into a forum bidding war.

Cheers

Hi Cheeky

It is easy enough for me to move the mares rego to WHOBAA if they wont rego him full bred due to that - but having said that, his dam is well known and i am sure there will be no problems with Whobaa rego'ing Phantom full bred.

"Extract from Stud Book Rules and Regs.
To be classed as a Purebred Waler, a horse must satisfy at least one of the following criteria:

*be progeny of two registered Purebred Walers, and/or
*have a definable history that meets the Association's Standard, and/or
*be from Foundation Stock, i.e. station bred horses whose history can be validated or reliably interpreted according to the Stud Book Committee."

As he is bred from 2 pure bred walers i am sure there will be no problem but i will check it out for you.

Cheers
Erin
