Calling all Waler Xperts

Postby Forget-me-not on Fri Mar 07, 2008 9:02 am

I also visit a forum on another horsesite called Stockyard, mainly WA equestrian lovers there but some from around Aus. Anyway they currently have a thread titled Brumbies. If someone is interested in having a look as I am outnumbered and have been trying to enlighten them with links to WHOBAA. I don't feel I'm getting anywhere  I'm also not as knowledgable as some of you here, even though my heart is in the right place  . I know members here have a wonderful way with words and that thread needs some experienced Waler people to answer some of the issues. So if you have the time and you're not too busy. Can I ask you to just have a look if nothing else. This is the link.

Hi F.M.V.,
Have looked and put my 2 bobs worth in. Hope other Members do the same. Quality, not Quantity, is what stands the test.

Thanks Gatekeeper. Its so amazing how with a few more voices people start to listen.

It feels like I've been a silent voice for almost a year. Then recently there've been a couple of others and the voices start to sound louder. People start to listen and open their minds to thinking outside of the box. I'm sure your efforts have opened some doors and taken down some walls.

Thanks for beiing the cavalry and coming to my assistance.

Love your most recent post.hehehe. It astounds me that people don't read. You probably gathered by my last posts I wanted to bite but had to hold my tongue. Got in trouble too... me bad.

I don't know how after such a long time of putting up with this type of attitude you stay sane. You are fantasitic. Love your work.

It's done that. Made a few ney sayers button their lips. It would be great if we had some Waler Action shots that we can put up there too. Just to rub it in that our horses are very special.

I'm hoping that some of you will be able to post some photo's of your lovely Walers here http://www.stockyard.net/vbulletin/breeding-horses/25707-waler-brumby-gallery-photos.html as I'd like to show the people who aren't familiar with them how sensational they are.
