Hi all,
just a quick message to see if anyone is having troubles downloading the attached newseletters ?! I have had a response that there is trouble with links but I cannot mimic the problem, I have tried from 2 different pc's to check.
If anyone is please let me know the problem, & remember the link opens the file in a new window so if you have a popup blocker you'll need to allow this window or disable your blocker until you have the newsletter window opened.
Also if you would like to download the newsletter itself in PDF to your HDD then right click and select save as, will allow this.
kind regards
Admin

It takes ages to unload (wahtever you say), but it does get there. can't read it until somehow scooped to the tadpole pool (my computer). Maybe some hints on unloading (yeah yeah, use your muscles)
Also, I think "faze" is the better spelling? Not having a big dic (tionary) to hand, just a hazrd of a wild guess - it just seems wrong.
Oh well. Us old mares know little, but the newsletter does get through even with us old ducks, next... another will magically appear!!!!!! er....
contributers very very welcome............. cool huh, I thought so, er.....wondered what the heck this smiley was......eerrrrr back to my un-technoliged region of the universe (tourists banned)........big dictionaries welcome however.....

I move that we go back to posted newsletters! Even if we pay perhaps an extra $5 each a year to cover costs???

I agree for some it maybe ok & other NOT ! but usually if you persist , even try something different in approach you usually over come whats wrong. nearly 95% of people whom have asked advice once updated their personal version of adobe reader to 8 & above get the newsletter fine.
Anyhow we have a new site so goto WHOBAA and get ya newsletters there if here is too hard ?!?? hope it all helps.
We do need to do something about the 2+MB versions for those whom are not on B/band though!
checkout the newsletter readers download post on top of all the newsletter links, it has some advice for thos that havent noticed.
cheers

Thanks Kane for the info and the adobe or acrobat uploads.
Tried but mine won't do it, tries ages to no avail (hours).
Now I can't access the newsletters, but it's because I am on old '98 windows and also, dial up net, so as soon as I get the biccies to change everything, I will hopefully get them.
Must get a new computer, broadband, new windows system - is it vista now
!!!!
yes, on page 109 of the wish list.....
No drama - I wil get into the access centre one day - handy hint for others like me ! - get in there when it's open, and when they have a spare desk, and when you wag work, and when you can tote in your printer loaded up with inks and whan you can convince them an extension cord and ages to set it up is a fact of old age and not costing them anything, yes then, and then, you may say, hoe ==w easy it is, to get the newsletter, how easy it is! yep, it's a breeze!!! - and ask can they/you print it off. Meanwhile ......... saving up, saving up

Took me 2 months to final workout how to access the news letters online (a lot of persisting and help from Kane) but now I’ve got it worked out, thank god!
I have also found that i wasn't able to open some of the PDF to full page making them unable to read so i saved them to file and this rectified the problem not to mention now i can access them any time without accessing the internet.
I did enjoy receiving them in the post (I’m finding reading them off the laptop while laying in the bath a little more hazarders than the original few pages in hand) However i do understand the cost associated with printer cart rages and postage as in most cases i too choose not to print them due to cost and resources.
PS. Hi all.
